To the Faithful Members of Holy Tabernacle:
It is with great pleasure that I announce that we are back in the Holy Tabernacle worship facility. Yes! We thank God for the outpouring of support and encouragement after we opened the facility up for all on Mother’s Day, May 9, 2021. We have seen an increase each week of in-person worship. I certainly understand the precaution many of our members are taking as we continue to learn more about Covid 19 and respond accordingly.
We are ensuring a safe space by making sure we are masked up upon entry of the facility and that each attendee’s temperature is taken. Our paramount concern is the safety of all members and visiting worshipers. We are adhering closely to the CDC guidelines, and we will continually make adjustments on behalf of the safety of all.
We are still in the ministry business and, we will continue to move according to the movement of the Holy Spirit. We have done some phenomenal work in our community during the past three months despite the looming concerns of Covid 19. We have hosted two Moderna vaccination dates and vaccinated over 70 members of our community. We continue to provide food and clothing with the Share -A-Meal and clothing drives. We have started a new bible study entitled “It’s Not Too Late.” Our Enrichment Hour continues to thrive on Sunday’s and our Prayer Warriors continue to set the tone each Monday thru Saturday morning @ 8AM. We also have our “Breaking the Cycle” class going on each Tuesday evening and Women’s Bible Study on Friday evenings. God is Good!!
In addition, the giving of tithes and offerings continues to be a tremendous blessing for Holy Tabernacle. We are in a very good place because of the consistent giving of our members and those who support our ministry outside of membership. If you are not giving and would like to begin participating, then please reach out to me, and I will set you up with our EasyTithe online and Text to Give options.
We will not be moving forward with our Vacation Bible School for this summer. Also, the Summer Picnic will also be suspended for 2021. There is and will be more opportunities to join in ministry and see your church family in-person and on Zoom. Plug in and watch God go to work in your life.
We will continue to give God His due glory and praise as humbly and sincerely as we know how. Our actions will remain faithful, and we will be led by the movement of God’s unchanging hands. 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. James 2:17.
