Our Present and Future 2022

Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

The Lord has kept us and continues to show His grace and mercy upon us as a Body of Christ. We have endured through the Covid 19 pandemic with God as our refuge. We have been able to remain connected with consistent prayer and true expression of our collective spiritual gifts.

We are continuing in our theme from 2021 and through the 2022 season: “A Season in Hope of the Lord.” We wait in hope for the LORD; He is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His holy name. May your unfailing love be with us, LORD, even as we put our hope in you." Psalm 33:20-22 NIV

Our hope is indeed in God! He is our best hope and our best path forward in all endeavors. God will deliver on His promises, and He will see us through all challenges and obstacles ahead.

We have demonstrated that closing the building does not shut out ministry, and it does not remove our responsibility to serve where the Holy Spirit leads us to serve. “The church has left the building,” but ministry continues, and the gospel of Jesus Christ must continue to be shared.

I am very encouraged by our consistent attendance in the Enrichment Hour at 9 a.m. each Sunday. I am thankful for the commitment made during our Bible Study time at 7:00 p.m. each Wednesday night, and our Children’s Ministry at 12:30 p.m. each Sunday. We all have the opportunity to join in with our Prayer Warriors each morning Monday – Saturday at 8:00 a.m. Please reach out to a neighbor or friend to join us on Zoom during our many available times to share in ministry.

We are back in the building and thankful for so many of you who show up each week to share in praise and worship in person. Our online attendance continues to grow! We are very thankful for the consistent viewership, and our goal is to provide an intimate praise and worship experience each week. Our Audio and Visual Team is very honored each week when you show up and praise in person or online.

We are in full operation with our “Share-A-Meal” and “Clothing Give-Away” every 4th Friday at 12:00 noon. Our community has become very accustomed to our heart of sharing and giving, and we want to build on these opportunities.

Our emphasis over the next two years will continue to be in Evangelism, Discipleship Development and Financial Faithfulness.

We will continue our journey in reaching the 13-17 and 18-34 age groups. I believe God will provide many opportunities and resources to meet the challenge of reaching each age group. The continued growth of our church will require us to reach them. We are positioned to provide spiritual nourishment for each group so the gospel can be shared and more can be saved.

We are in the Hope of the Lord! We rely on Him for all of our needs, and we are confident He will supply according to His riches in glory. Join me in the excitement of serving God, and let us rejoice together in seeing the results He has already planned for the continued building of His kingdom.

In His Service,

Min. Orlando L. Hadnot

Senior Pastor
